About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is James Snape and I'm a software engineer with a passion for technology, software architecture and devops. I created this blog to document my learnings and experiences in the field, and to share them with you, my dear reader.

I currently live in Bournemouth, a beautiful coastal town in the south of England. I've also lived in other parts of the UK, such as Cheshire and London. When I'm not coding or blogging, I enjoy cooking, patisserie, cocktails, and spending time with my dog. I also like to build Lego Technic models and photography.

My blog covers various topics related to technology, such as programming languages, frameworks, tools, best practices, design patterns, cloud computing, and more. I write in a conversational and informal style, as if I'm talking to you directly. I hope you find my posts useful and interesting, and if you want to leave your feedback or questions, you can mention me on Twitter @jamessnape.

Besides my technical content, I also post photos or articles about other things I find interesting, such as food, drinks, pets, travel, and more. You can check them out in the categories section of my blog.

Don't forget to follow me on Twitter or Mastodon for more architecture, devops, and personal stuff!

Thank you for visiting my blog and happy reading!
